Mathew Garcia
Hello there! My name is Mathew Garcia and I'm the owner and detailer of Kangaroo Detailing, based here in sunny Arizona.
Since June of 2016 my experience has been in working on running inventory and detailing/renewing vehicles for a nationwide used car superstore. Kangaroo Detailing was started in October of 2021 for car wash and detailing services that would come to the homes and businesses of friends and coworkers.

I found that instead of losing the time on the weekend waiting for it to be washed and detailed at a shop or business, the detail work could be done at a time the vehicle was not in use - freeing time to actually enjoy the vehicle once it was detailed from the comfort of home or where my clients worked.
As seen in this photo from April 2022, I would detail vehicles with the equipment, water and chemicals out of a Nissan Cube - needless to say, it was a tight fit to bring water and power to my clients for a vehicle detail!
Over time, more clients and appointments would necessitate the need for bigger water storage onboard, as well as more chemicals and equipment for detailing. Doing the detail work part time and balancing with what was a hobby with a full time job was proving to be difficult as well. The decision was made to work in something that I loved doing full time, instead of dividing my time between my detail clients and work. A bigger work van in March of 2024 finally enabled me to do my detailing business full time and work began on outlaying the next step in the business.
